Terms and Conditions

Please read through our terms and conditions carefully

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO FAMILIRISE YOURSELF WITH THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE PROPERTY BELOW.

Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions as specified in this document unless otherwise arranged and confirmed in writing with the Owner.

Bookings will be held with the prior agreement of the Owner for a period of seven days to allow for the completed booking form and initial deposit to be received.

A deposit of 25% of the rental charge is payable when making the reservation.

The balance of the rental charge must be paid no later than eight weeks prior to your intended arrival date, failing which the deposit may be forfeited and the reservation cancelled at the discretion of the Owner.

Reminders for payment will normally be sent. In the event of late payment, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

If a booking is made eight weeks or less from the intended date of arrival, the whole of the rental charge must be paid at the time of the booking.

2. Damages

A damage deposit is taken at the beginning of the reservation.

The Guest agrees that this deposit will be used in the event of any damages to reimburse the Owner.

Should the damage caused exceed the damage deposit amount, the Guest agrees to pay the owner in full.

The damage deposit will be returned to the guest in full at the end of their stay on inspection of the villa if no damages have been incurred.

We constitute damages as follows:

Any substantial damages or breakages caused by the Guest, the Guest’s family or those on the property at the invitation of the Guest, or unacceptable behavior of the Guest, the Guest’s family or those on the property at the invitation of the Guest.

The above may also result in immediate eviction without compensation or additional claim for loss and damages from the Owner.

In this event the Owner will not have any further contractual obligations to the Guest.

3. Rental Period

The rental period will commence on the agreed date of arrival until the agreed departure date.

The rental period can only be varied in writing by and with the prior agreement of the Owner.

Arrangements will be made for the manager to supply keys for the villa to the guests upon their arrival.

4. Number of Guests

The number of people staying in the villa must not exceed the number specified in the literature promoting the villa unless prior written agreement has been made with the Owner.

The Owner reserves the right to cancel the rental if the number of people arriving at the villa exceeds those notified and agreed on the booking form.

5. Services

Rental charges are inclusive of electricity, gas and water charges.

Our housekeeper will regularly clean and tidy the villa and change the linen and towels during the course of your stay; however, we would ask that you maintain a reasonable state of cleanliness throughout the villa and clean all dishes and cutlery when used.

Rubbish should be removed from the villa on a regular basis as the Caribbean is prone to crawling insects.

6. Linen

Sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, bathroom towels, hand towels and tea towels are all provided and will be changed on a regular basis.

We do not supply beach towels.

7. Facilities

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions of the villa and its nearby facilities are accurate, the Owner cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any changes.

It should be noted that conditions in Barbados are quite different from those experienced in the United Kingdom and other European and western countries.

The Owner cannot be held responsible for national outages or adverse weather conditions nor can they accept responsibility for animals, birds or insects which may be present in or around the property.

The use of the villa and the amenities offered is entirely at the Guests own risk.

Guests and their parties leaving personal belongings in or around the villa do so entirely at their own risk and the Owner cannot be held responsible for any injuries or losses however caused.

8. Cancellation

In the case of a cancellation the deposit can be transferred to another date providing we are notified no later than eight weeks prior to the original intended arrival date.

9. Insurance

The villa is maintained to a high standard for your comfort and safety.

The Owner does not accept responsibility for any personal injury or accidents, which may occur.

We strongly recommend that Guests arrange for appropriate travel insurance for the duration of your stay.

We appreciate that after a relaxing holiday, items may unintentionally get left behind. As such, we will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible should we come across any lost property.

Should you return home and realise you have lost any property, please inform the owner at your earliest convenience so that this may be returned to you as swiftly as possible. (Please note this will be at the Guests own expense).

10. Complaints

In the unlikely event you have a complaint about the villa, this should be reported to our local representative immediately.

Failure to do so may result in the Owner being unable to address the complaint appropriately.

Complaints cannot be accepted after the Guest has returned home and there has been no opportunity to rectify matters during the rental period.

11.

Please note Smoking is not permitted within the Villa

Booking with us means that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions of this contract.
